I don't really have internet anymore, so I won't be able to post anything from now on. I am not sure what happened to the latest post, maybe it will just show up again like the way it disappeared? Anyway, I'll make sure to take lots of pictures so I can show you guys when I get home. See you in a few weeks!!

The Mordern Toilet
This is where we went for dinner last night. Everything is toliet themed. The seats were toliets, the food was served in mini toliets, the food was shaped like poop. It was hysterical. And Emily's idea to go.
The resatuarant's mascot
The sink in the bathroom.
The lamps
It was really fun, even if it was kinda gross. Emily got curry
Pretty gross, right? But it tasted good. We had a good time
See? That's us having a good time.
We are in Taipei now. We went to a museum this morning, it was nice. Me and Emily are going to the night market tonight. Dad is staying at the hotel and hanging around. The night market sounds exciting, and a little bit terrifying. But mostly fun.
See you later~

The ocean and hakka tung blossom festival
Wednesday morning we drove out to the ocean. There are no sand beaches in the area, but the ocean was pretty nonetheless. It was in the middle of farm land, so the whole place was very relaxing.
There is a wind farm in the far distance. Can you see it?
Random little park thing, I thought it was cool looking.
Rice!!!!
Emily!!!!
That night we went to this mountain to see fireflies. It was gorgeous, but I couldn't get pictures, it wouldn't show up. But I got some cool pictures of the town.
It was really really pretty, but hard to get pictures of. Anyway, we loved it so much, that we went back the next morning. It is so pretty during the day.
Gorgeous, right? Dad and I went on a hike while Emily studied, this is what we saw.
It looks like snow!
That is the tung tree, it kinda reminds me of cherry blossoms. It is one of the prettiest things I have seen.
We had to do it
Here we are at lunch in this restaurant on the mountain, it was really cool.
So cute!!
That juice was delicious, the rest of the meal was only ok. Dad hated it actually, but that's just because he missed american food and wanted a cheese burger. So when me and Emily were done eating we drove him through a McDonald's. He was happy.
Tomorrow we head to Taipei, the big city capital. I am excited ^^
Good Night~

Service and Science Museum
So yesterday morning (it is wednesday morning for me right now) I went out in service. It was a lot of fun. They way they do service here is everyone meets at a certain location in the territory, the brother taking the lead pairs people up, and they walk around the area for two hours talking to everyone. After about a half an hour, a Korean sister in the hall took me on her Bible study. It was really fun. After service we went to the science museum in Taichung, the city near Emily's house. Outside they had a nature trail that was really pretty.
This was Emily's favorite (above)
I liked this ground cover
Oh, I thought this was interesting. We have these trees in Florida, there the ones with the pink lantern things. In Florida, these trees have a yellow flower during the summer, and the pink lanterns in the fall. Here, they have the lanterns in the spring/summer and the flowers in the fall.
We were supposed to go to Allishan but we found out it was 3 hours away, so we decided not to go. We are going to a firefly thing tonight, I am not entirely sure what it is, but it sounds cool. And right now we are leaving for the beach.
So what have I missed back home?
See you later~

First day in Taiwan
We went out for breakfast this morning and got one of Emily's favorites, Dan Bing. It is basically an omelet in a dumpling wrapper.
It was quite delicious.
Me and Emily waiting for our food to arrive
Dad trying to use chopsticks
He isn't very good with them.
After breakfast we went back to the house my father stayed at and spent a quite few hours trying to find a place we could rent a car. It was rather complicated, but we eventually got one.
After lunch we checked dad into a hotel and he took a nap while me and Emily did other stuff. We took a walk to a cute little cafe near her house and got tea and pastries.
Here is the place, it's called Humanistic.
After dad finished his nap we went to a place called tiger city. It is basically a mall, only cooler.
This store was really cute
I didn't take many pictures because the shop owners didn't really like it.
When we walked in there was a cardboard cut-out of some celebrity.
I have know idea who he is or what is up with is outfit, but dad played along for us ^^
So the area Emily lives in isn't very pretty during the day, but it so cool a night. There are lights everywhere.
A bridge above the main road
Ummm.... I don't remember, but it looks cool!
This was a foot bridge, I couldn't get a very good picture of it, but it was really pretty.
Tomorrow I am going out in service and then we are going to Alishan, a mountain nearby that is supposedly very pretty. It will be fun!!
Good Night~

We are here!
I have safely arrived at my sister's house in Taiwan. And it is 2:03 am. Yeah. Tomorrow will be fun.
Our traveling experience wasn't that bad. We left the house at 4:20. Don't we look lovely?
Yeah, four in the morning is not my favorite hour
And here we are at the airport waiting to board our flight to Chicago
I really am happy, I swear ^^
Here is the plane we took to Japan!!!
OK, not really, but I forgot to take a picture of our plane and this one is the same, only it says delta instead of united airlines.
I totally forgot to take pictures after that, I was tired and jet lagged, but I did get one with Emily while waiting in line for a taxi
Reunited at last!!
The real adventures start tomorrow, and I will remember to take pictures, but for now, I am going to bed.
Good Night~
