First day in Taiwan

We went out for breakfast this morning and got one of Emily's favorites, Dan Bing. It is basically an omelet in a dumpling wrapper.
 It was quite delicious.

Me and Emily waiting for our food to arrive

Dad trying to use chopsticks

He isn't very good with them.

After breakfast we went back to the house my father stayed at and spent a quite few hours trying to find a place we could rent a car. It was rather complicated, but we eventually got one.
After lunch we checked dad into a hotel and he took a nap while me and Emily did other stuff. We took a walk to a cute little cafe near her house and got tea and pastries.
Here is the place, it's called Humanistic.

After dad finished his nap we went to a place called tiger city. It is basically a mall, only cooler.

This store was really cute
I didn't take many pictures because the shop owners didn't really like it.

When we walked in there was a cardboard cut-out of some celebrity.

I have know idea who he is or what is up with is outfit, but dad played along for us ^^

So the area Emily lives in isn't very pretty during the day, but it so cool a night. There are lights everywhere.
A bridge above the main road

Ummm.... I don't remember, but it looks cool!
This was a foot bridge, I couldn't get a very good picture of it, but it was really pretty.

Tomorrow I am going out in service and then we are going to Alishan, a mountain nearby that is supposedly very pretty.  It will be fun!!

Good Night~

  3. Actually, it hasn't been that bad. I have been making myself only sleep at normal times, so I am pretty adjusted to the time difference.
